These are our featured favorite restaurants in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding area. The restaurant scene is always changing and keeping up with the hundreds of places to dine in the area is hard work. (Plus it can be expensive and "calorific!")
Below is our "short list"- some of our favorites for their consistency and over-all value.

Dee's Coffee is an icon in the coffee world down here and is also known for luscious homemade desserts and sandwiches. Free WIFI with purchase and cheap calls to the US and Canada.

No Way Jose is a rather new comer in Puerto Vallarta but has already made an impact in the dining world winning "Best New Restaurant". They sepcialize in regional Mexican cuisine, seafood and offers a great wine selection.

Hacienda Alemana, formerly known as the Frankfurt serves up some of the best
traditional German food around. They also serve International favorites and breakfast. Known for their flavorful buffet

Unique bar & Grill, located at the Unique ATV Tour Office on Basilio Badillo 429 is famous for it's huge portions and BIG breakfasts. Most of the meals are Tex-Mex inspired, like burritos and chimichangas but they also have burgers and other items. Most prices are 65 Pesos and under. cheap drinks too!

Marisma Fish Taco has been around for ages, and for good reason, they simply serve the best fish tacos around. Besides fish tacos, they also have shrimp tacos, ceviche, smoked marlin and the best salsas around.
Closed Monday- Open 9 AM to 5 PM. Naranjo- mid-block between Basilio Badillo and Carranza.
